Cruising along the TCH west from Winnipeg to Calgary will take you at least 9 hours. Cruise control set 10km over limit. Have done it more than a few times pulling set of trains fully loaded. Leave Winnipeg early evening, cruise through Regina, Tims' in Medicine Hat, on to Calgary, early morning.

It is approximately 7-8 hours from Calgary to Regina, depending on weather and road conditions, and then about another 6 hours to Winnipeg.

If you drive the speed limit and stop only for gas or a quick meal its about 11 hours. Stick to the highway(transcanada) for fastest travel
