If you're near Detroit you could have recorded the song off of the radio staring November 4th. There is this lame radio station that thinks you should hear 24/7 Christmas music starting right after Halloween. They must play that song 20 times a day for real.

Here's one place where you can copy it (the lyrics) : http://soe.hyperchat.com/newchat/u/lisanne/~soe/hippo.htm

the song is written by John Rox and performed by Gayla Peevey in 1953 according to this site. If you want a copy of the song and have music download software, you could try looking for it on there. If you can't find it, I would suggest trying to find a cd by Gayla Peevey or any other artist that has performed the song and order it.

Hope this helps.

The singer was Gayla Peevey, who was only 10 years old when she recorded it in 1953. The recording can be found on the CD "Dr. Demento Presents: Greatest Christmas Novelty CD"

Go to www.limewire.com, then go to the download section on the website it then will give you two options Get Basic or Get Pro.Basic is free and Pro costs around $20.00 a month.Once you pick one of them you will be asked a few questions, then after that it will download to your desktop it will take a few minutes to download though. There you have it.
