Which one is better, and why? And which one is more violent, and which one is scarrier?

The old one is more suspenseful. The new one is scarier.

The old is better because it is scarrier and more violent than the new one. And it is definitely mind gripping!!

I can't say I've actually seen the old one, but I've seen the new one and it was more boring than anything. I can get scared pretty easily, and not once was I scared during the movie. Its pretty violent, but just not scary. I've heard the older one is scarier, but I'm not sure about violence. But I have been told they're very similiar, so I'd guess the level of violence is about the same.

Personally, I thought that both of them were horrible.
The remake was exactly like the old one, with a few minor differences.
Neither movie was scary, but the remake was more violent. When someone got killed in the remake you saw everything.
