Press the f8 key during start up and a menu should come up giving you several options. Choose safe mode and this should by pass the log on screen. from there you should be able to change or disable your password.

Re-start the PC, on boot press F8 key and go in to safe mode. You will then boot and your account along with the administrator will be there. 9 times out of 10 people forget to assign a password to the admin account, click on the admin account and log on with a blank password.
If the account is protected the run the install program and run the repair option.
Other than that, go to http://www.lostpassword.com.
This a a totally legitimate site.

ERD Commander 2003 get hold of this software you can use it to remove your password and reset it, you can download it to floppy or cd and it boots up when you restart widows it boots up into a windows like enviroment and from their you can reset your password to your account also works with windows 98, 2000, xp pro and home editions GOOD LUCK

Call Microsoft's tech support. It is only $150 an hour. Due to the recent changes and patches, the old password hack programs no longer work, so Microsoft has to tell you what to do.
This will teach you to never lose your password ever again.

You sure that the compie is not stolen as you are locked out, a password is related to something you should remember, my laptop was stolen but did the thief no good as they could not acess it due to my lock out pass word

put your computer in safe mode and sign in as administrator. this will let you change the password.

Have you got Guest account of so log onto that and change your password. If not sorry you need to go to a pro shop to get it reset they may do this for free.
