I had a miscarriage back in February 2006. My husband and I continued to try, but after a while we just quit having sex. We were both under a lot of stress, and didn't have sex for months. Just recently we did, at the right moment and, not to be graphic, he came inside me. He had a feeling that I had just conceived, (it's something in his family, they all feel it and usually it's right) and he wanted me to take it easy at work. A week went by and still no period, another few days and then it hit me. All I can say is I "peed" out a clump of blood clots-enough to fill your hand. The rest of the period was pinkish, a bit runny looking and lasted for two days. My period usually lasts for about four to five days. I feel like I'm about to start my period again, a week after whatever that was. Any idea what it could have been?

It could have been another miscarriage. You really need to see an OB/GYN because it could also be a symptom of uterine fibroids.
This condition can cause miscarriage as well as heavy bleeding during periods. Most women don't even know they have fibroids until symptoms start appearing. There is a non-invasive diagnostic test called an ultrasound to detect fibroids. There are a few treatments for this condition. Please see the doctor for a full pelvic exam as soon as possible. I hope this helps, you can find further information on webmd.com

Unfortunately, it may have been another miscarriage.

You may wish to have your doctor check you out for the following: High or low insulin (hyper- or hypoinsulinema) - through a fasting blood insulin test, and a saliva hormone test, to see if your hormones are at appropriate levels. If all of this checks out normal, then you may want to have a complete analysis done to see if you are experiencing any imbalances in vitamins, minerals or other "biochemicals", that contribute to easy miscarriage.

Best wishes for a future successful pregnancy and happy baby.

hmm. well if it was first late, then you peed the clots and your period was pinkish and lasted only two days, my first reaction would be to say that you possibly had another miscarriage?
i know it hurts--believe me, i know how bad it is.
have a visit to your OBGYN and what what he/she has to say.

Could have been a bleeding after you've conceived..coz even after conceived you will still bleed a little bit. Better get yourself a proper check.

My mother had that. It was a miscarriage. She had 3 miscarriages and were all like that. Tell your doctor.
