Personally I would bring back Leonardo da Vinci
A man who had talents to burn and a visionary who was able to think hundreds of years ahead of his time. He would surely be the type of person we need to look to the next 2 centuries and come up with ideas for the future that can help sustain us all.

Surprised no-one said Kennedy yet but I suppose the Americans are asleep still

Ole Blue eyes Frank Sinatra and /or the King Elvis. Out of music it would be a 3 way toss up Robert Kennedy, John Kennedy and Mother Theresa because the world needs their leaderships

I would bring back Jimi Hendrix, the music scene needs a kick in the nuts. And he would turn it on and make people feel inspired to put out good stuff instead of this cookie cutter type crap the radio stations all play.

Jimi Hendrix first and foremost, Janis Joplin cuz she was such a rebel. Kurt Cobain because he was so original, Elvis because he was the king and finally Frank Sinatra because he was the ultimate crooner

Brilliant question. So many people I would bring from the dead. Excluding loved ones, I would bring back Ramses II and ask him to tell us all how it was like to live in Ancient Egypt. -- Maybe give him a video camera and send him back to Ancient Egypt so he could bring back images and sound. Or maybe even some images from him harem... he had apparently 200 "wives". That would images be worth watching !!

Dimebag Darrell had such a rock death, you can't take that away from him, shot by a fan!
And Kurt Cobain, a complete rock death - I think they'd be pissed off if you brought them back!

I'd bring back Bruce Lee!

I would bring back Leonardo da Vinci, just to let him see he wasn't too far of when he, a few hundred years ago already, thought people would be able to fly in planes, and he was spot-on in saying the earth was round!
I think that, after the initial shock, he would be excited to see what we've acomplished, and hey, maybe it would inspire him to help invent future technology.
