Use a different one; something that reflects your "inner child". I might get shot for this, but I never cared for Betty Boop. She was considered "dizzy-ditzy", and you're not like that at all! She was the original and first flapper girl cartoon, and controversial. Did you know that when the censorship laws were enforced, they made her skirt longer and the neckline higher? Take a peek at the internet archives... pretty interesting.

I used to have a boss who loved Betty Boop.
As for me I think you should use the avatar that best expresses who you are or what you are. Me I am an any man kind of person so I keep the Mr. Shadow. It makes me seem less personal and more concerned. I like that. People stop thinking you care and pretty soon they start triviolizing everything you say or write.
And yes, I liked the old one, If that is you in the picture it is a great picture of you, it makes you look inviting and happy to be here. Of course it does make you want to see your other profile.
