hmmm seems like you could slap the ol blister with a bigger bling for her mouthy buck!

It is unfortuante that you have to endure such vile and nasty rumors. But you do have to protect your reputation at all costs.

If she succeeds with this; it will not only ruin your reputation but your credibility, and you're allowing it to go recorded onto court documents.

The old hag needs to be stopped. And I'd make her pay for everything right down to the filing fee - attorney - ontop of the slanderous b.s.

well im only 16 so idk if i will help you.... but techinically what she is saying is slander and such... i believe that meth stays in your body for a long time so submit to a drug test and a lie detector test... that way everything will be clear... also remember that with law suits you end up paying more to a lawyer so in the end you probably end up with nothing in the end... i say only do enough to clear your name and then just forget about the ***** of a mother in law... i think the only important thing is clearing your name because if it is not and the hearing is screwed up becuase they believe you did do meth then you are screwed for the rest of your life...

The problem with slander/libel is that you have to show evidence that you were demonstrably harmed by the action.

The mere act of speaking it may be insufficient grounds to proceed with a lawsuit, as you could lose for lack of evidence

However, if you wish to rattle her on the notion that you may proceed, that may be enough for her to back off
