I don't think that they have really been listening and yes, I agree with you that Prince Charles needs all the PR that he can get - but he married Camilla, so what PR is he likely to get?
The truth is that despite the fact that the Royal Family have something like 23m or more in reserve, they don't really give a monkeys about the mere mortals who tried to save a Little for Christmas.
I didn't sell them because a few years ago I tried and realised that there were flaws. Most of the 'reps' should have realised that there were flawed.
If you think that the queen and prince un-charming are going to come to the rescue, then I think that you must be from another planet - same as they are!

HM Queen and senior members of the Royal Family, HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, cannot and are not allowed to become involved in what has now become a political issue.
If you want to help those who have lost their savings in the Farepak Hampers fiasco, join with others and make a donation.

Don't see why the should. Nobody forced anyone to give their money to Farepak and there was no government guarantee.
What about all the people who have lost their company pensions even though the goverment told them their money was safe. Add in the millions of people with pesnions with equitable life who the givernment actuaries let down too. They are the ones that deserve sympathy and compensation.
As for Farepak, did you know that the agents who persuaded their friends and relatives to save with Farepak received up to 25% commision? Have a look here, notice the text
"Earn up to 25% commission"

i'm the indisputed karaoke queen in my neck of the woods, regardless of the undeniable fact that i does not say I had that sturdy of a voice!! after we've a get mutually I deliver my PS2 and all my SingStar video games and we do knockout rounds, and the guy who wins keeps to be on. I constantly survive for greater or less an hour until eventually my voice is going all dry haha. I hate those people who basically take a seat and watch all of us else sing yet in no way upward push up themselves! not even after some bevvies... they're actual killjoys. by making use of the way, my usually happening karaoke songs are Blur's Parklife, with my maximum suitable mate and strolling In Memphesis, the Marc Cohen version ;] Have a sturdy day x

You don't know they haven't (although I doubt that they have) as the Royal Family never make known what charitable donations they make.
Generally, on the Farepak issue, isn't it odd that the Government are running round wringing its collective hand over this issue when (a) it has legislation on the stocks which would have prevented this happening, and (b) is has refused in the past to help people who, through no fault of their own, have lost all their pensions, due to company collapses, fiddling etc., thus condemning them to a miserable old age, not just one spoilt Christmas

Because the Royals think of the people as grotty little oiks,,I remember a few years ago there was a little kid who needed a brain operation in the USA,,I did not see the Royals giving diddly squat back then either,,in fact it was Mohammed El Fayed who put his hand in his pockets and helped save this kid,,I think the Royals should be so ashamed of themselves,,richest people in the nation and certainly the tightest with the money and the money comes from us the tax payers.

Why should they?
Whilst I feel very sorry for the people who lost their money it would have been far more sensible to stick the money in a savings account or even just under the mattress than to give their cash to a company that isn't governed by the financial regulator.

If people willingly hand over money to an unregulated company which then goes bust why should other people pull them out of it- put your money in the bank for goodness sake!!!
