Guardian is by far the most left wing, so left wing that it openly encourages Muslims to rape and murder citizens in the west, because stopping them would be "racist". The Guardian should be banned and all it's writers and readers jailed for life for treachery of decency and peace

The papers aren't as polarised as they used to be - they used to spout a right or left wing view and back a right or left wing party - not so black and white any more but here's my view...
The Sun - Right wing views, backs labour
The Daily Mail - Right wing views, backs the tories
The Mirror - Left wing views, backs labour
The Telegraph - right wing views backs the tories
The Times - more central views (with a bent to the right, or rather the establishment) backs the tories
The Independent - so incredibly dull who knows or cares?
The Observer - left wing views, backs labour
The Daily Star - a comic, so irrelevant
The Guardian - left wing views, backs labour
Hope that helps :-)

funny how both left and right depict themselves as centrists. then paint the centrists on the other side from center where they stand. I often am both right and left of center depending on the subject at hand. however i would check the "center" box on the form. But, I begin, that is to say, my starting point, is anarchy. Prove to me to my satisfaction, why I should not have complete freedom of choice on an issue. I will then concede the point, and accept the limit to my actions regarding said point. A point not addressed means I have complete freedom to do as I please on that point of behavior.

they chop and change like the wind much like the labour party. The labour party used to be for the working class, left wing, sun, star, mirror but now its so mixed up, with new labour the bank director who drives a jag and reads the times which is historically a right wing paper, should be a conservative.

Right wing support conservative approaches to politics and law making. Left wing papers support liberal issues such as ecology, human rights, green party stuff.
I balance by reading times and guardian, and making up my own mind.
Either if too extreme is bad, in my view. Admittedly, though, I lean toward the left on many, many issues, such as war and social equality, and animal rights.

LEFT WING = Guardian - Observer - Independent - Times and Financial Times are a little to the left these days.
DESCRIBED AS RIGHT WING = The Mail - Mail on Sunday - Sunday Times - Express - Telegraph. I personally think that these papers are centre ground common sense. Only leftists would describe them as right wing.
