I have BT Broadband, and it took 102 days after activation to start working! So I'm kinda biased against them in terms of their customer care. The connections not too bad, but a while ago it went off for about 4 days, and I was told that it was a common problem at the time, and nothing could be done but wait.

Well I have been on BT Broadband for a long time. My only complaint is that the broadband access regularly goes down every night, sometimes up to five or six times every hour. That is a real nuisance for me ..... and their customer service is bad. They promise to sort it but never, ever do. But saying that everyone else that I have been in contact with are very pleased with BT broadband.

BT Braodband is OK but isnt the best the wireless BT Home Hub is great but can have some downsides as dosent have a fixed line rate, so you can get some good (e.g. 500kbps) download speeds and some really crap ones (e.g. 50kbps).
Even though BT says 8mb broadband its deciving and thats not the transfer speed (how fast you download) but overall its ok!

I used to be with ntl a very good fast service then we moved house to a non cable area so had to go with bt. the service you get from bt is absolute rubbish if we had an alternative they would be long gone.

I've had BT as my broadband provider for the last 12 months and found their service excellent, never had to ring them at all as i have never had a problem or reason to, I'm currently looking around to see if there is anyone who can match them for reliability, and do it cheaper (£17.99 with BT). see my question.

I have HOMEHUB and apart from when something goes wrong its excellent.
But when you have a problem you have to ring an Indian Call Centre, whos staff seem to read everything off of a script and then have NO IDEA how to solve your problem. They will also ask if they can connect to your PC remotely to try and fix the issue. i would advise against this as they can seriously fcuk up your router (as they did with mine).
All in all the internet side of things is excellent.... the customer service side of things is CRAP!

I have B.T. Broadband (Basic Package) 2.2 Mbps it seems adequate, pretty reliable, but as it is the only one I have had I have nothing to compare it too,
