My name is Karthik and have worked in the US for 3years and in India for 1 year. I will be working for Accenture Singapore as an SAP Consultant. I would like to meet new friends and interract. I would love it, if my friends circle goes beyond just my work collegues. I am an Indian and i am well travelled. I would really appreciate it if someone could suggest me some get together events to meet up people.

you can go to clubbing places, join social networking agencys, country clubs, there are lots of ways to make new friends, cheers

1. Join a wine appreciation club ; professional networking clubs etc..
2. Participate and share views on local online forums such as stomp.com.sg or expats forum.
3. Get frens to bring you to famous eating spots because Singaporeans are big time eaters..
4. Join a sports group that you enjoy.

You will find in most major asian cities there is a big contingent of expats, they will often have a website set up like this to help people settle into their new environment and also offer events to meet other people in the same situation

LoL. If you're looking for sex partners,they have what you call the "Swinger's Club" in S'pore. It's still new & it's not illegal, coz it's the government's way of brushing off the nation's well known prudishness. They have all those Sexpos but it's not going THAT great. People there are still extremely conservative.
