Wonder if anyone can recommend any theoretical books that concentrate on short films and their narritives, rather than features?

I'm starting an MA in January and that's the subject we're covering in our first term so I want to get a head start(!).

Important: these books should be readily available in the UK only - either through Foyles, Borders or Waterstones in London (where I'm based) or through Amazon.co.uk (can't afford the import charges from Amazon.com).

I asked this last night and no-one answered so i'm hoping the Sunday afternoon hangover crowd will be more helpful!!!

i in my opinion enjoyed the 2005 version of delight and Prejudice. it particularly is my widespread e book, and that i merely theory that the movie exchange into impressive. customarily I hate video clips that are in keeping with books, yet this one exchange into fairly astonishing. Why: I enjoyed the filming and the actors. i presumed they portrayed the characters excellently and labored will with one yet another. Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen have been an impressive pair and did a spectacular job. The placing exchange into additionally particularly exciting. i think of I enjoyed it customarily because of the fact it exchange into authentic to how i presumed-concerning the e book in my head. Stuff like the Harry Potter video clips have been so distinctive than how I pictured it, so none of those video clips could decrease it.
