if my boss expects me doing my pre reg year...?
he will get a £16 grant to have me so if i leave and go elsewhere could they sue me for this money coz they will no longer be recieving it unles they manage to get sum1 else to fill the position?...although i dont have a written cointract just a verbal contract. please help

First of all, a verbal contract is not a way to contract anyone. It demonstrates that they don't want any compromise with you and your future. Therefore, I don't see why you worry so much about them.

Second, they receive money because you're there, but they don't acquire any rights on that money. This money is suposed to help them pay your salary. Therefore, if they don't pay a salary, they don't receive financial help for it. To some extent, it's a help for you while you work there. They cannot sue you for that, nor request any money from you.

It's obvious that they need someone to replace you, or need to do something that convinces you to stay.

Anyway, if I were your boss, I would greatly acknowledge you talked to me as soon as possible about this; and even would like you to suggest someone that would fit in that place (If you knew someone). This way you would help to minimise the inconveniences of your going somewhere else.
