I don't think M.Phil. is offered through distance education. In fact, very few universities are even offering regular course. Delhi, Patna & Allahabad are one AFAIK and no else in India.

Many universities including Annamalai, Madhurai Kamaraj and Periyar university of Tamil Nadu state started offering M.Phil and Ph.D. programs through distance education mode.
But as per a new decision from the Govt. of Tamil Nadu after discussion with all these universities, no university in Tamil Nadu can offer M.Phil and Ph.D. programs through distance education from 2007 academic session. The same will happen to other universities in the near future and do such programs only as a regular student.

Contact Madurai Kamaraj University or Annamalai University or Bharathiyar University or Alagappa University, specifying the subject in which you are interested to do M.Phil through distance education.

ya you can do your M.Phil in distance mode . if we talk about India so approach1) Mysore city college name manas gangotri they have the facility in long distance mode M.Phil
