Interprersonal intelligence...

Someone who is able to get on well with other people, and know how to relate to them on a personal level.
Here are two people
Tom and Jerry.
Tom does not know what he is doing wrong but he seems to offend people, or acts inappropriately. He acts awkwardly when meeting new people. He has low interprersonal intelligence
Jerry, on the other hand, is able to mingle with people, and has the knack of making people feel comfortable in his company.
Someone who has a bad mood walks in. Tom never notices. Jerry does. He helps lighten the mood, IF the other person wants it. (Sometimes, if you are in a bad mood, there is nothing worse than someone trying to "cheer you up.")

Being able to pick up on subtle social clues and adjusting your behavior accordingly, for example if you are standing too close to someone in a grocery line and you see them squirming or trying to inch away, even though you are not bothered by being that close, you move away to give them some space.
