It is a possibility that you are having a reaction to the anesthesia used. I would talk to the doc involved and see if the same drug was used in the first four IVF's. There are also some folks who are just very sensitive to anesthesia. I would strongly recommend thinking very hard about doing another procedure.

You have not discussed whether of not you had complications involed with this procedure. If everything went the way it was supposed tothen the answer is " NO". There is no evidence to support your accusation that with each anesthetic you become more stupid.
During anesthesia we monitor your oxygen saturation continuously and if it even BEGINS to drop, it is treated immediately. Hypoxia (lack of oxygen) is the cause of brain injury/cell death....it is highly unlikely that you suffered this during your procedure. Anesthesia has never been safer...there are monitors for all of your vital functions and early detection/prevention is practiced routinely in the USA. There is a "standard of care" that is met with each anesthetic administration. Blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature, uring output, ventilatory rate and pressures are all measured...some cases require monitoring of direct arterial pressure, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac output, etc..
It is likely that what your are speaking of has to do with the lingering after effects of medication you have received under anesthesia. These lasting side effects should be gone in a day or so for the typical person with no health issues. You should never drive or try to perform tasks that require complete alertness for at least 24 hours after an anesthetic even if it was a small procedure.
When you go in for your surgical procedure be sure to convey to your anesthesia provider these concerns and any prior complications that you faced. These questions are all asked prior to anesthesia administration and DO make a difference in the kind of anesthesia that you receive. It is best to let your anesthesia provider know your concerns ahead of time so that all of your questions are addressed ahead of time.

Is it you, your husband, or the both of younsaying that you are getting "stupid"? I work a group of Anesthesiologists and have never heard of this complication. Since it is temporary condition, maybe your condition can be attributed to stress, age, or a factor that you are discounting. At 39, I am not a sharp as I was at 29. You need to address your concerns to the MDA (the Anes. Doctor), it may be a rare side effect.

between the failings I propose to scholars who're making waiting for the LSAT - the examination to get them into regulation college - is to study the manhattan circumstances or a matching newspaper of notice (Wall highway magazine, Boston Globe - something solid, no longer something like the u . s . a . right this moment or your community paper) every day. This does 2 substantial issues re: teachers: a million) improves your reading skills and 2) improves your potential to do diagnosis of what you study. So your concept, IMO, is a valid one, yet p.c.. a solid newspaper. next, do an assessment of your artwork. What motives you to get Bs rather of the As you decide on? talk on your instructors. carry them some pattern, executed and graded assignments once you talk over with them. tell them you decide directly to advance your grades. Ask them to bypass over your assignments with you, so which you will get a much better information of what their expectancies are. Then attempt to stay with what you study on your next assignments. ultimately, start up reading plenty extra. reading, in my journey, is what can particularly take a solid pupil and make her large. reading novels of all varieties, non fiction, etc. confident, study what you like, yet in addition study *literature*. bypass with your pastimes in the beginning up, yet push them. In different words, once you're into vampire books, then confident to Twilight, specific; yet in addition a great confident to "permit the splendid One In" and "Dracula". in case you study constantly, it could effect your schoolwork - you will study assigned artwork swifter, know it extra effective, and your writing will advance. One substantial element - once you're reading, think of roughly what you're reading. in case you come across a be conscious or subject rely which you don't understand, do no longer pass it. look it up. it particularly is the way you improve your intelligence - do no longer purely permit issues bypass. Ask questions.
