I'm going to guess that 13+4x is the entire exponent
for 18. Most askers leave out critical parens.
So it's
32^5x = 18^(13+4x) Take the log of both sides.
5xlog32=(13+4x)log18
5x = (13log18 + 4xlog18)/log32
5x - 4xlog18/log32 =
13log18/log32

x =13log18/
[log32(5-4log18/log32)] using common logs

log18=1.255 and log32=1.505 so

x= 13(1.255)/
[1.505(5-4(1.255/1.505)]

x= 16.315/[1.505(5-3.239)]
x= 16.315/[1.505(1.761)]
x= 6.517

I checked. It's pretty close.

tell u what!if the question form is 32^5x=18^(13+4x) first we take the Ln therefore we got 5xLn(32)=(13+4x)Ln18 solve this equalation is as easy as possible.
