While I was in the hospital I told the nurse that I was pregnant. And they still prescribed me this narcotic but I still feel that it is not safe.

I think you should be fine I take tylenol with codeine tylenol 3 for pelvic pain and back pain that my obgyn prescribed for me I think taken over long periods of time it could effect your baby but since you are only taking it until the pain in your arm goes away you will probably be just fine.

You knew you were about 4 weeks pregnant and you failed to tell the doctor who did the outpatient surgery this information? Okay..........
Call the doctor and tell him now and ask what other meds would be safe for you to take. I'm thinking that you shouldn't be taking vicidon, but I'm not a doctor.

Vicidon is a narcotic. I would ask doc for another pain killer.
