It is a stated fact by both Hamas & Islamic Jihad that they will not stop until Isreal no longer exist. They do not care about the Palestinian people because if they did they would help in the peace process. Because of Hamas the Palestinian people have lost Millions of much need dollars in aid.Why does TheUN & every one else condem Isreal when they go to rescue a solder but I see no one condeming these groups attacking Isreal .

I could only hope that those rockets were the last ones fired at Israel because it might took longer than expected to withdraw the troops from Gaza and at the time the truce came into effect there were still some troops in Gaza...fact that might have confused Hamas...As for the Islamic Jihad they don't want to apply it as long as the military actions in West Bank continue...
because unfortunately this cease fire it's available only in Gaza.So even if the attacks on Gaza are stopping the ones in West Bank are still continuing...So I really don't think it's fair..."we stop killing Palestinians in Gaza, but we continue in West Bank"

"In the wake of the rocket-fire, Mr Abbas ordered the Palestinian security forces to deploy in northern Gaza and enforce the ceasefire, Palestinian security sources said.
Hamas' armed wing said it launched the attacks because some Israeli troops were still in Gaza, east of the town of Jabaliya, despite the Israelis saying they had pulled out all their troops overnight.
A statement from the smaller Islamic Jihad group, which also claimed responsibility, said it would not agree to a ceasefire while Israeli military activity continued in the occupied West Bank. "

Did you really expect them to keep their part of the deal? Previous cease fires were never held by the Arabs.

Talks between an Israeli prime minister and a PA chairman have never produced any tangible positive results in the past; only escalation of terror.

80 Qassam missiles were fired at Israel in 10 days (before the current cease fire)! Hamas spokesmen have admitted that one of their key objectives is to force the evacuation of Israeli towns and villages around the Gaza Strip.

Inaction brings more terror; gutless leadership even worse! Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agreed to withdraw all troops from the Gaza area and cease anti-terrorist actions in return for temporary halt of Qassam rocket fire, but not other terrorist attacks.

Israel has no option but to launch a major offensive against Hamas and allied terrorist groups in Gaza. Just another symbolic offensive will not end terror. Transfer of the entire terror-infested population from Gaza would be a useful part of the operation.

Gaza Arabs have fired over 3,000 of these missiles into Israel, mostly into the Israeli working-class town of Sderot. People have been killed going about their day, and property destroyed.

Sderot is quickly becoming a ghost town, since the residents are tired of being forced to run for cover every 5 seconds, and the confused government of Israel refuses to stop the Arab rocket launchers out of Gaza.

Israel is a hated country that has always been at war. If you look at all the surrounding countries that border Israel you will realize that Israel is in a never ending battle. Israel's independece and way of life is just not accepted by its neighbering countries and will always try to be destroyed.
