your obsessions and frustrations from one relationship to another? I mean when you don't like something in a relationship, do you tend to forbid that in your future ones?

i think its hard not too !! you know cause once you'ave experienced something you cant undo what you know or have felt by someone....so yeah its hard not to take it with you.....but just to let my whole self know everytime i start a new relationship i do go BUY a whole new wardrobe ..to have new start with the new person =)...

In my opinion, it is not about carrying frustrations and obsessions from one relationship to the next, it's about bringing experience to the table when you enter a new relationship.

I try to avoid those things in my next relationship. I try to make sure this person doesn't have the same characteristics that caused the frustrations. But then sometimes even if they do, they are worth it.

Nope because I don't believe in carrying over excess baggage over to a new relationship as it't neither healthy or beneficial to your new relationship and certainly not fair either. In other words, you need to get over your past and move on with your life.

Hm... I think so, yes, because I want to prevent a future problem like that from happening, but I don't let it interfere that much. I just keep my eyes more open.

I am sure that happens, I don't allow a person who lies to be part of my world. A cheater, thief or a non working person (unless a disability exists) has no place in my life.

we all do. no one starts fresh, we go from what we learned from previous relationship.
a relationship is like a trip, we bring all our baggage, but it depends on how much we unpack while there.
