That's the real name for using playing cards as an oracle.

I haven't used them, but the suits in regular decks of cards were supposedly developed from the Tarot deck: Swords/Spades, Cups/Hearts, Wands/Clubs, Pentacles/Diamonds (I may be wrong on these--I don't remember the stuff exactly.)

Anyway, Gypsies (Romany) usually used playing cards for fortunetelling rather than Tarot decks. The playing card deck has the same 1-10 number cards and J-Q-K-A like the Tarot deck (I don't remember what the ace is in the Tarot deck.) I guess you'd read them the same way after you matched up the suits. The Joker(s) are the Fool of the Tarot deck. The Tarot deck also has a Major arcana, whereas the playing card deck is only the Minor arcana.

The Tarot deck was originally used to play games, not tell fortunes.

Oh, and that i forgot. some lore states you ought to thieve your first Tarot deck from a at present working in direction of Tarot Diviner. of path, in case you get caught, you will face the wrath of the Tarot... in basic terms shop on with using a universal deck of enjoying cards for universal card video games.

surprisingly enough, yes I have used normal playing cards when I couldn't find my tarot deck after I moved. its just a case of using the minor arcana and shifting the relevant suits over.

These are related to tarot cards. And reading cards, and fortune telling lead into the same dark pathways, and dead ends, try talking to the Holy Spirit, asking Him for Guidance, He has your future already mapped out.If you ask Him,He will lead you into Pathways of Light, where real power flows through you.
