I didn't have a period for a year, and I'm pregnant right NOW. lol
You never know when your body is going to ovulate. You need to take a test, and then talk to your doctor now that you're sexually active. If you don't, you could get pregnant, which is a bad idea as a teenager.
Time to get on birth control, and it's time to talk to your mother. Most states won't let you do this without parental consent. Be careful... Pregnancy isn't the only bad thing out there. You've got STDs to worry about, too.

It is always possible for a girl to get pregnant once she has started her periods. Periods can take a while to become regular, and some girls have been in the same situation (starting their period, and then not having another for up to two years). It is quite common.
Don't worry, but if you ave had unprotected sex recently, it is always better to take a test.

It is not clear from your question how old you are but I will try to answer you question as best I can.Firstly it is normal when your periods have just started to be irregular. However to go nearly a year is unusual. If you have engaged in any sexual activity then you need to take a test to be sure.If you are pregnant you will need to tell your parents because you will need their love and support to help you decide what to do next.If you are not pregnant but you are sexually active you need to sort out contraception. If you are as young as you sound you would probably be better not having sex at all!

The uterine lining is meant to shed after ovulation. women on beginning administration pills can nonetheless get their era mutually as not ovulating, and girls on the Mirena IUD can ovulate with out having their sessions. yet in case you have not have been given a era then you definately won't be waiting to have toddlers, based of path on age. I choose you the final of success. examine with a gynecological known practitioner. in case you particularly should have a toddler then you definately will discover some thank you to do it, no count if with the aid of organic thought, in vitro fertilization, or adoption.

probably not, because pregnancies only last 9 months. my best guess would be a hormone imbalance. that would throw off your cycle. but depending on your age and how long you had it before it stopped and if anything happened that could have triggered a hormone imbalance... i just think that its really really important that you talk to a doc about this. if you want to have kids later in life, its important to make sure everything is okay.
