Im in a nice home on my own housing benefit plus Incapacity benefit.Its a hard life but I scrape by.

Yes I am offended.
I've just read through your previous questions, which all seem to indicate you're a lazy shiftless bum, intent on taking what you can from society but giving nothing in return.
I am a lone parent of three kids, I work my *** off to provide a home, pay a mortgage, finance a car, pay for every single thing they have and want to do. I take nothing from the state (except children's allowance, which is put in their accounts for when they're older).
My job involves contributing to society in a meaningful way, both as a ground worker and policy maker, and I'm extremely proud of the fact that I've done this on my own, with no family to support me (they died when I was still young).
You sound like you're a fit and able layabout who is too useless to go out and get a job - God forbid you'd miss your middle of the week pub lock-ins or your sky tv or weed.
Get a life FFS before you're face to face with yourself and want to run screaming from what you see.
It's not too late!

Why would people be offended? As I understand it incapacity benefit is pretty hard to get so I'm assuming you must have a serious illness or disability.
I think people get wound up about benefits (me included) when idle people who have more children than they can afford assume they have a god given right for society to pay for them and their bad decisions. When challenged they have more excuses than grains of sand on the beach.

However I personally have no problem with people who get benefits because they really cannot work - there but for the grace of god and all that.

find it slightly hard to take, lots of people have had a hard life, i cant afford to rent a flat so have to share, i work hard, pay my taxes but still cant afford a nice home. But you can because you get benefits which i pay my tax for you to receive.
having said that in your case (as long as you really cant work and are not taking the p1ss) I dont have a problem with the state helping you out.
Its the people who take the benefits coz its easier than working that I have an issue with because they have a better life than i do

It doesn't. You're a sad person with too much time on their hands to make up silly questions. How about next time you write that you're in that situation but have 10 kids and no partner and you are an illigal immigrant - that should pull a few answers in ???? Grow up xx

Depends why you are on the benefits, I know several people that claim for benefits (which my taxes pay for) when they are perfectly fine to work.
But hey if actually can't work then no this doesn't offend me.

Offend or Not is what you feel in the deepest of your heart. Should you don't feel ENJOY at most of your time in that kind of house means that in MORAL wise you are offend even in LEGAL wise you are not.

No why should it, if anybody has a problem with you living like this tell them to f**k off, it's your life, it may not be the best, but at least you not moaning about your life like most people who all they want is more of everything
