Their 'cause' was always unjustified and flawed for the last three hundred and odd years anyway.Why can't moronic bigots like Stone accept the fact that the IRA's eventual victory in the North was inevitable and leave the indigenous population to their rightful self determination?If the Unionists don't like it then why don't they go back to the West of Scotland where they were planted from by the rich British land owning gentry all those years ago?

The trouble is that there are worse people than Stone on both sides. Of course enlightened men like Adams and McGuinness are an example to us all. I am afraid 'CHARLIEDO's grasp on history is tenuous to say the least. If all the Scots who were 'planted in Ulster are to go back to Scotland will all the Irish in the UK now go back to Ireland?

What about all those innocent people in Omagh? Catholic and Protestant? What about the pregnant lady and her baby twins who were slaughtered by the "Real IRA" in that atrocity?
Or the "disappeared"? The Catholic Mother who was abducted, tortured and murdered for giving a drink of water to a dying British solider? Whose body has never been returned to her grieving family?
The innocent young Catholic people who were abducted and slaughtered because someone accused them of "informing"?

There is no doubt that Michael Stone is a bigot. There is equally no doubt that you are also a bigot. It is extreme bigots on both sides that have caused death and destruction. Ignore bigotry from either side and live together in PEACE.

I don't remember anybody suggesting that he was the best argument for the 'cause'. Also, if you're keen on 32 rather than 26 counties, you probably shouldn't be calling it 'the province'.
