You could suggest that he concerns himself with what issues appeal to or are important to young people, fashion, music, money, study, the cost of higher education, debt, career planning, buying a home, savings, pensions, healthcare, sexual health, travel. The you might suggest how he could try and improve issues which worry young people to make the future seem less gloomy. You could also suggest he works on his own image which is a bit dull and boring after all!

You could think about this from three different angles - it would probably be good to include a bit on all three.
1. What kind of issues are important to young voters that he should be talking about? Start by thinking about what you and your friends care about - maybe education, the environment etc
2. What would Gordon Brown have to do to appeal to young voters on a personal basis? So how could he make himself appear more accessible, how could he demonstrate that he understands what younge voters care about etc?
3. What would you advise him to do to understand the issues young voters care about? Perhaps he could go on a programme of school and university visits, have a website where young voters could talk about the issues that are important to them, email GB to ask questions, GB could have a blog on it that young voters could post comments on etc etc
Hope this is helpful - good luck with it :-)

I think he would appeal more to young voters if he didn`t do that funny thing with his mouth when he`s speaking,it`s probably just a habit but it`s annoying.

He should:
visit schools/universities
include how to support young people during university as one of his 'aims' if he becomes prime minister (like lib dem are really supportive of students)
invest more money in universities
Listen to young voters opinions on the present gov. and what ways they would like it to change
that's all I can think of!
hope I've helped xxx
