our school is having a winter formal and a couple of my friends are going to eat together(no guys!) do you guys have any suggestions for restaurant that we should go in richmond, presidio, laurel heights, or even in marina district? (dance in going to be in presidio)
please only answer questionif you have a good "answer" and actually been to the restaurant before, and remember we are high school students(money isn't that big of a problem) and we are all going to be "dressed up"!

one of my all time favourite restaurants in SF is La Folie it's near the presidio on Polk street. http://www.lafolie.com/

Palomino on Embarcadero. You can take in the view of the Bay before your formal, and it's pretty close to Presidio. Great food, good ambience (suitable for your formal wear so you won't stick out) and reasonable prices.

Casa Vechia is a lovely little restaurant with very nice Italian food.
