I had a really bad experence with letting my fuel tank run to empty.... Lets just say Me on the side of the road lost in the backwoods of West Virginia at night was NOT FUN... I always try to keep my tank above half full now. I learned my lesson!

My sister fills it up at 1/2 but below 1/4 when prices are high.

No I never let it go totally empty as you get the crap at the bottom of your fuel tank

I keep mine full .I fill up whenever it get,s to around a half a tank when you run your tank low a lot it condenses water in your tank.and that can cause you to freeze up in the winter.

usually 1/4 of a tank b4 filling up but i've been known to push that little dial to its limit

My tank is fairly low right now but I never let it run out. My electronics in my vehicle would go crash if I did or so I have been told and I do not want that happening! yikes!

when it hit a 1/4 tank i put more back in have ran out a few times in places i didnt want to be lol
