I have been using this hard for my digital photoes. Now when I attach it to my PC, the prompt is: This drive is not formatted; do you want to format it? This is awful, how can I save all my photoes and datas on this drive? Help please.

That is extremely bad news, a few years ago it would be the worst. I'm afraid what you'll have to do is reformat the drive.
Fortunately all is not lost as there are two pieces of software that will recover the data from the drive after this has taken place.
GetDataBack and Ontrack Easy Recovery - I've used GetDataBack before in the same situation and found it works brilliantly.
The best of luck, and next time remember to back up to DVD or CD.

Don't do anything yet, check out your options;
You could use a company that specialises in data recovery, they probably won't guarantee to recover some or all of your photos and it may be expensive.
Or you can look for a freeware or paid for data recovery program and do it yourself.
The problem is that prices vary between £100 and £250!

PC Inspector Smart Recovery is halfway down the page - but I've never used it.
Contact Cynical S and ask him for links to the software he suggests so you get a safe download.

this massage shows there is problem with media of your usb flash disk.
first try this software " Fix it Utilities "
if it does not help, you will have to reformat your flash WITH THE SOFTWARE in attached CD ,when you bought it.
you can get data your back with the software above.
