do periods have any relation with the increase in height of a girl?
Can height be increased by cycling? If yes, how much time should be given to this exercise?

No, the height of the girl has nothing to do whatsoever with the menstrual cycle. That is driven by hormones of a different type than those which regulate growth. A lower body fat content can alter the cycle, and even cause it to cease alltogether. Illness, injury, or stress can also cause disruptions in the cycle.
Bicycling will not affect your height. Your optimum height was determined at your conception, and has been affected by your overall health and nutrition since then. You can shortened your terminal height by severe illness and injury, or by being overweight. Nothing will increase your height except human pituitary growth extract injections, and those are given only to children by liscenced physicians, usually endocrinologists who specialize in treating growth disorders.
There are no exercises which will make you taller. They will make you more physically fit, which is a good thing, but they will not make you grow. You can hang upside down, and expand your spinal cord temporarily, and gain as much as an inch in height, but this will quickly disappear in a few hours time as gravity pulls the vertebrae back in the usual compacted positions. I'm sorry, but there is no other way to get taller. You either have the genetics or you don't.

Yes and No. A lot of stuff take play in your height.... I've been the same height since middle school where as others shot up in high school. I started my period at 9.

Your period plays a part in your development, yes. because it's a sign that your body has begun it's changes. Puberty.

For example: A lot of gymnasts(preteen to teen) do whatever's possible to NOT see their period because they know when their period comes that means their body is changing to that of a woman... that it's growing.

no. Height is based upon the amount of weight bearing exercise and your nutrition. Periods are based upon genetics and mother nature.
