Rather than destroy everyone in the Middle East. Maybe the Constantine Solution could be used. Constantine used the Niacean Council to solve the Christian Dogma problem.

The same method could be employed here. Call all the Leaders that have an interest in the Middle East to a Conference to sort the problem out. Lock them in a great hall. No one in, no one out. No food or water in or out until the problem is solved fully. Any violence & the perpetrator is killed immediately. If no solution is found in a week, they are all killed & then start again.

I am sure there would be no need for a second conference.

Or, we could use all those B-52 and B-1 and B-2 bombers to drop all over the fundamentalist nations little motel-sized bottles of whiskey and Playboy magazines. What they need is a cultural revolution, to lighten up and stop being so repressed.

Actually, the only long-term solution lies with the women. They need to throw off the burkas and tell the men that if they ever want a hug again, things have to change. A little bra burning is good for the collective soul.

This will lead to a surge of Capitalism because the men will have to compete for the favor of the women. Soon the successful men will be wearing the symbolic noose which is the neck tie, and golf courses will spring up across the desert so men can get away from their obnoxious wives.

See, civilizaton is better than bombs.

Even the dumbest leader wouldn't be fooled into such a conference. No one would show and it would be the laughing stock of the world. Do you really expect ANY leader to if consider something like this when it's hard enough to get anyone together just to talk?

If by odd chance you do get them in this "Great Hall" and after a week kill them, who is left to lead and control their countries/regions?

Well, you'd have them all kill each other, like we hear they've been doing for ages in the Middle East; so I'd say you'd have one heckuva lot of "Conferences".
