To what category of the human race do indians and arabs belong to?

I've read that humans can be classified into three major races:caucasoid,******* and mongoloid.Where do indians and arabs come under since their features do not really resemble any of these groups?

CAUCASIANS!! Most of Northern Africans and Middle Eastearns, arabs and Iranians, have dark skin but they have caucasian features and is valid. Not all caucasians have light skin. But you can find also arabs and iranians very white to even blond and blue eyed.

You know, I have a degree in Archaeology and I'm not sure. You are right there are three classifiable "races" in terms of human skeletal remains, being Causasoid, ******* and Mongoloid. Indians are classified as Asian, I would assume then that they would be Mongoloid. However, Indians (I assume those from India) do not have epicanthic eyefolds, this generally is what classifies races under Mongoloid. Those from the Middle East are classified as Caucasian, therefore probably Causasoid. (If your using "Arab" to classify only those in the Middle East). But Arab is anyone who speaks Arabic, so that's even more broad. Some living in Africa could potentially be *******. Hmmm, if you mean indians from india, thats one thing, if you mean indians as in native Americans, thats something else. And Arabs are anyone who speaks Arabic, so that could be any one of the three. This question seems a little ill conceived, but what would I know? I thought they stopped using these classifications for living people and only used then on skeletal remains as a forensic tool. I double dare you to go to Chinatown in New York and call an Asian person a mongoloid, or go to Harlem and call a black person a *******. Bad things would most definitely happen to you.

Some are decendants of the ******* race, others are decendants of the Aryan/Caucasian race. Please read the Wikipedia link below. The true Aryans came from an area between the Northern province of India and Persia (modern day Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan).
