Hi there my friend is overdue and is having pains she went to the hospital and is 2cm dialated its her second baby but they sent her home saying that after a birth you dont normally close up whole.. Just wondering will she have the baby tonight or possibly early hours of the morning its 9.33pm now ?? And people with more than child child just a question did labour get longer or shorter or didnt change just wanna know what she is n for thanx guys

When I was told at hospital that I was 2 cm dialtaed and I had my bub 4 days later, but I have been told you can 2 cm for a couple of weeks without even knowing.
My 1st was 11 hours, the 2nd was 5 hours drug free but still bloody hurt. But everyone is different.

my first was 8 hours, my second was 12 hours, and my third was 2 hours and he came out so fast that the nurses had to deliver him, your friend can expect 1 cm an hour, give or take.
plan on early morning. She should keep track of her contractions, the will not be regular, but the closer they come the more she dialates. the hospital will take her usually after 4 cm. she should try going back in 2 hours, unless they gets really close together. good luck!

First one took about 5 hours for me, my second was born on a stretcher going from the ER to the OB ward.
Usually always the first is a slower process, unless the female has a small frame or pelvis.
They should never send you home if you are 40 weeks, now days they know that allowing a Mom to go beyond 40 weeks can endanger the baby, so they usually induce with an IV of pitocin.

hi, properly the recommendations of sleep are an outstanding one! notwithstanding, how about going again to a resturant you both went too once you first were given jointly - something particular to the both one in all you. look through previous p.c.. of both of you jointly and take a image of you both now that you've grow to be mom and father. If a meal out is basically too a lot then get nutrition in and prepare dinner a staggering romantic meal, watch a movie jointly, cuddle up and basically income from the time jointly! undergo in concepts though that once infant comes alongside that both of you get a touch circumstances to your self to keep the courting solid! Lx

every one is different. i was barely dilated and they sent me home at 9pm. I went back a few hours later because the contractions were really really hurting and close, she was born around 10 am. This is my second child.

get your friend to drink castor oil it works. my first 37 hrs my second 11 hrs third 10 and last 13 hrs good luck enjoy the ride
