What you need is something called a Wireless Broadband Router, they cost around fourty bucks.

If you have more than one computer in your house, you probably already have a router. If you have laptops that you can use on the internet anywhere in the house with no cords, you already have a Wireless Router.

What it does is recives the broadband connection from your cable modem and hooks all the cumputers you plug into it to the came connection. So all your computers can be online at once. A Wireless one uses a Wi Fi connection to allow any Wi Fi enabled stuff you have, like a Wii.

You can also plug your Wii straight into your router, if yours isn't wireless and you don't want to buy a new, one using the Wii's USB port.

Setting up the connection is pretty simple and it does most of the work, but if you run into problems you'll want to have someone there that knows how to work with router settings. I had a few and managed to solve it myself within an hour. Also, if you have any problems visit www.support.nintendo.com, there's a lot of good information there and forums full of people who are more than happy to help.

How to do this without a wireless network. That is a little more diffucult. I do know that there are a number of nintendo Products that allows you to plug in a usb key type of device that allows you to create a Wifi Network just for your nintendo products. If you do not have a wifi network, get the USB network adapater from Nintendo and you can use you internet connection your computer is using.

Nintendo will also be releasing a usb device that allows you to connect an ethernet cable to it.

I hope this helps.
