Because a business owner should have the right to decide how he wants to run his business. Does he want a smoke free bar or tavern, or a smoking bar or tavern should be his choice, These smoking bans HURT small local bars and taverns and people lose jobs. I know of six right now that stand a good chance of losing their jobs after Ohios smoking ban takes effect.

They should (for areas where minors have access). Bars, I think could be exempted. Beer=cigarette. Any smoker who remembers not smoking will agree. I quit (but started back). I respect the space of others and don't smoke in the house anymore. It is a nastyass habit. They may tax it, but people who don't smoke should also have the right not to smell it or breathe it.

Make chew cheaper than cigs it saves on lungs, and second hand smoke. The private onwer of the business should make the discision to ban smoking, but the after effects costs be balanced with personal liberty and stupidty also. Sweden, promote snus to get people hooked off smoke is probadly a good idea to try for sub population of smokers hooked on nicotine no what. A combination of harm reduction, and nicotine cessation should be encourage there more than one way to get people to quit smokes

They SHOULD! That stinking poisonous second hand smoke floats around and sometimes you just can't get away from it. I believe smokers should do so in their own homes or automobiles and not in a public area including walking down the sidewalks because it's just as bad there. If they want to commit slow suicide that's them. But there are quicker ways of killing themselves.

Well, they should ban it. Sitting next to a smoking person can be very hard, especially when you hate the smoke... If they want to smoke, they can do it at home.

Because if they did a lot more smokers would quit and then my taxes would go up from the billions of dollars a day the gov't is no longer making.

In order for those who like to smoke to fill their lungs with wastes, thus leading them to die.

look on a pack of smokes it will tell you the revenue on a pk. and do a little math and you have your answer. they do not want you to quit.
