NO!!!! If USC gets into the BCS Championship......I'll croak! Beating Nortre Dame was NOTHING!!! I do NOT like BOTH USC or Nortre Dame! I was wishing there was some way that both teams could have lost last night! Ohio State, of course, should go to the Championship, but I don't know what other team I'd want in there.

I am a Cal fan and was very disappointed when USC beat Cal. However, I am a Pac 10 fan so was happy when USC beat Notre Dame. USC is starting to peak at the right time. They started off slow in the beginning of the season - winning in the 2nd half in many of their games. If they beat UCLA, then they should be in the BCS Championship game.

I think USC showed us last night that they are a great team, but I can't dismiss Michigan as deserving a title shot. It happened in 96 when Florida State beat Florida, then played them again in the National title game and lost to the gators.
Who should be #2? Why not have a final 4 in college football? The BCS is missing that one important element, have a final 4 or a college playoff. Oh, USC will beat UCLA.

Only if they can beat UCLA... And you can bet the farm on that to happen. USC wins by 20. Also, don't cry when USC hands Ohio State it's first number one in the loss column. Additionally, Michigan could end up being co-national champions with USC. Again, all you corncobbs or whatever your called bend over SC is going deep!!!!!

Unfortunately, I think if USC beats UCLA they will play for the National Championship. Being a huge Big 10 fan, I would rather see a rematch between Michigan and OSU

Maybe but I'd love to see Michigan and USC play each other in a play off system to see which team gets the right to play Ohio State

USC showed that they belonged in the BCS Championship game.
Michigan already had their shot at Ohio State and they couldn't do it.
The current BCS system does suck, but it's what we have to work with, so there is no point screaming for a playoff system.

regrettably, USC is constrained to enjoying super 10 opponent, Penn State. the suitable Pacific 10 team could play the suitable super 10 team, till the two of them are interior the BCS Championship recreation; below which circumstances the subsequent ultimate team interior the league performs. it somewhat is with the aid of settlement, and is between the justifications why there is not any playoff gadget; the Rose Bowl would not choose to lose the sales from this continuously-nicely-known recreation.

louisville and rutgers go 10-1 but people blow them off completely citing wins against weak competition.
well notre dame's wins have come against mediocre opponents too. yet they get all hyped up as a top team.
but having said that, southern cal is a great team and they have beaten lots of tough opponents.. arkansas, cal, oregon are big wins.. and demolishing notre dame was impressive nonetheless.
team's don't have much control over their schedule, but they do have contol over how badly they beat the teams they play.. so i'd give heavy style points to teams that badly beat opponents.. notre has squeeked by many teams.. southern cal has squeeked by many of their games too.,
florida, michigan, rutgers, and louisville have punished most teams they have played.. these are the top contendors in my opinion.
