No they are not more painful than your normal periods. Sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard. I also lost 2. In a month or so it probably will be regular again.

i am in the same boat to you i had my 3rd miscarriage 3 weeks ago today. i am sorry for your loss i really am. Although you may not hav had a period yet it is important to remember that you will probably ovulate anytime after two weeks after the miscarriage. They say anything between 3 weeks and 3 months before your periods regulate but that isnt the time span before you can get pregnant. Me and my partner are still upset about our loss but have began to try again (not that it replaces what we have lost). I must admit my menstrual cycle is now due and it is slightly more painful that my last period but it isnt as painful has the miscarriage. Best of luck to you hun and i hope your soon blessed with a little baby x

Your periods should return within 3-9 weeks of a miscarriage. It may or may not be more painful. If you are using birth control pills, you might be able to predict the timing of your next period.
Other than that, there isn't a way to predict your next period.
However, you should remember that you can become pregnant w/in 2 weeks of miscarrage.

I had a miscarriage and your periods should return within a couple of weeks. And it wasn't painful to me. But everyone could be different. Did you talk to your doctor about it.

Your periods will return to normal,28 day cycle etc, if that was what you had before the Miscarriage, but they won't hurt anywhere near as bad as the Miscarriage itself.

No 2 women are a like and your period will start when your body gets around the fact that it's not pregnant any more. No it shouldn't be painful. Did you have a D & C after your misscarriage? Very important to have one.If your very worried go & see the Dr.
