no longer in all threat. If something, it is going to be any opposite direction around. Mythology and folklore and conceived as issues no longer believed as real. in assessment -- many human beings in the international, thousands and thousands over, believe strongly in a minimum of one style of religion or religious direction. Mythology and folklore could be a subsect of that, even even though it style of feels that they are an analogous -- different than mythology and folklore are in the previous annoying, a technique or the different. =) solid question, although.

If you are an atheist and think that religions are just mythologies and folklore, then post questions in this category.

If, on the other hand, are a believer and wish to learn more about a religion, then post in the 'Religions and Spirituality' category.

I don't see the problem really...

I am so with you on that one.

It's about time that people realised that 99% of religions are outdated and their beliefs have been scientificlly proven against, and the other 1% should be categorised as Groups and as they are not really religions!

I think there should be a religion called Reality. For people who believe in what is really there, and not a crock of false promises and rules to abide by!

Yes it should, but as most so called serious reference works seem to include individuals from Christian myths and legends as actually being real people I suppose that this is no the norm. How can such works of reference be taken seriously when they include such individuals as Moses, Jesus, Mary, and other figments of fevered imaginations I do not know but then the publishers of such works are probably religious maniacs as nearly all publishers are owned by crazed right wing Americans

Religion and spirituality as it currently exists is what people generally believe in now. As people cease to believe in it, it becomes mythology and folklore.

Religion is definately a myth, and spirituality is folklore. You don't have to be religious to be spiritual, but you do have to be spiritual to be religious...go figure.

Religions yes, spirituality no. As it is certain that religions are myths and folklore. Spirituality is to believe in God, therefor your God have a different form, but still is the same God, as there is only one God and his name is Jesus Christ.
The trinity is a real God.
