I am Passionate of Music, How can I improve?

I am interested in music and I think music is my world. I am seeming passionate of music rather than my other activities even my mom. Any people like myself can join with me and can share our thoughts?

Libraries often have music that you can borrow, in addition to books. Even if you think you may not like something, try it anyways. You could surprise yourself and find a new genre that you like.

Next, do you play an instrument? If you don't yet, then go for it. Just be aware that it takes a lot of time and practice to be able to play music well. Pick an instrument that fits with the type of music that you enjoy (ex: If you like jazz, then you might want to try the trumpet). Piano and guitar are popular instruments partially because of their versatility. Plus, if you like singing then you can accompany yourself.

You will also want to find a teacher. The best way is by word of mouth. Find someone who plays the instrument that you want to play and see if they know someone who teaches that instrument. You can also ask at your local music store (look for a place that sells sheet music and instruments, not CDs). The people there will be familiar with who teaches in the area.
