I've always loved sci fi books and movies and tv shows. My first fave books and shows as a little kid were sci fi.
I guess I like the science part, but also the adventure part. And I like the fact that anything is possible -- they open our minds and imaginations to "anything's possible" and inspire us (me).
Some of my favourite shows/movies were certain Twilight Zone shows, V, Battlestar Galactica, the Star Wars 6-pack, Star Trek (all series), Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, many many more.
Some of my faves of the series have been mystery-type shows but set in space.
There are so few women who like sci fi and I don't know why. Men who love sci fi are the most interesting to talk with because they have open minds and a "nothing is impossible" attitude :c)

Yes, of course. Imagination shapes the future and nothing more so than Science Fiction. Just look at Star Trek Next Gen. Vs. today's tech. ;)

I like the fantasy of sci-fi, and the idea that one day we might stop needlessly stop killing one another.
