Hi,
I just arrived in Pune, am 28 and looking for a descent flat (with possibly a terrace, and possibly not in a big building), which areas do you thimk I should look into ? I have been to Kalyani Magar and was not impressed, Khoregaon Park, that i did not like for its cool-baba-osho mood... I was told deccan can be an interesting area to investigate also. Please give me your advice !

Pune is expanding and separate mega complex housing societies are coming up in all areas. It depend on which are your work lies in order to select a flat. On Nagar road side Kalyani nagar is best, On parvati side Salisbury park is good, On karve road you can go to kothrud, If you are in info tech park then Aundh, hinje wadi, baner etc are good. If on pimpriside go to Pimpri or chinchwad. Kondhwa is another area where nice flats are availble.the average rate varies from 1200 to 2200 or above depending on all facilities.

I THINK BEST AREA TO LIVE PUNE NIGADI. AUNDH . WAKAD, DEHU ROAD & HINJEWADE TECHINCAL AREA
