I have been witnessing the somewhat poor performance of Andrew Flintoff as English captain over the last 4 days, he seems to not bowl himself enough when he is very clearly capable but I think he needs to really decide what he wants to do, does he just want to be either an all-rounder and hand the captaincy to someone like a Kevin Peiterson or should he say YES I would still love to be captain and I will focus on getting the best out of this team?

thanks
Mitch

I strongly feel that he should relinquish captaincy and concentrate in his bowling and batting as it seems that the pressure of captaincy is affecting his performance as an allrounder.

He is best when he is an all-rounder. Michael's the man for the captain's job.
Flintoff should be told wat to do. he needs to be guided so he can bring the best in him and I think Vaughan is the best for this job.
