I run an AMD 64 but not an FX-62. The idle temp is different depending on what OS and idle processes you run. If you're finding that your cooling is inadequate, see if you can find a higher rpm cooling fan instead of (if this is your case) a prong heat sink. If you want it to run quieter, relieve some of the load off your cpu (if you really want it quite and don't mind, underclock it). Or, just stop some unneeded process via. msconfig in the 'run' bar.
