This is so weird because i just had a conversation with my 2 friends about this.
me and my boyfriend had a falling out last week and i was about to break up with him, because a particular situation and he ended up crying on the phone, saying how much he didnt want to loose me, and my heart really went out to him.
For me i like it when a guy crys, not like a baby but like a quick tear drop because it shows me he cares and that guys cry and that he does have feelings and he is human.
my friends were like thats stupid why was he crying.
but how i see it is that it shows you care and have deep feelings for a person, evryonr crys once in a while and if you dont cry you must be an ALIEN.
so i say i like when guys cry, but just dont be a cry baby with it, but dont be afraid to show you emotions because we are all humans.

That depends, but the answer is probably "no".
What girls are on the lookout to avoid, especially early in the relationship, are men who have "issues" or aren't emotionally developed. If you, as a man, are highly emotional it will come across as being emotionally unstable and/or needy. However, once you're in a relationship and things happen in your life, it's expected that you will react emotionally to those events. And you will seek support from loved ones.
On the flip side, men who are emotionally "needy" tend to attract women who are similar. This will probably lead to some level of codependency.
Is it wrong for men to cry and seek comfort in others? Absolutely not. Is it weird or a red flag if he does it with near strangers? Yes.
If you feel that you need someone to talk it, it's probably better to get some professional counseling or talk to a best friend. Don't seek emotional support from a new or potential girlfriend.

Girls like guys that are GENUINE.
If what you are going through or feeling makes you want to cry or show other emotions then YES by all means we appreciate that because you are being real.
If you cry, etc. to get attention or mess with her head to get her in bed or otherwise then that is not genuine and not going to go over well at all.

Not if they are always crying and whining.... but let's face it.... a guy who doesn't cry when someone close to him dies or something is really a cold fish.
Guys should express their feelings appropirately and freely.
Best Wishes,
Sue

in some cases that is true because girls like a guy who can express himself freely without fear of being judge and in some cases its not cause a girl may want a guy that is hardcore and tuff. so him crying wouldnt be her idea of hardcore and tuff.

I'd have to say no too. Not that I don't like my man to express himself, but usually men who cry, cry all the time.
