Do you think the people around you or yourself lack in sincerity? Lack in love? Lack in interest of the general world?

Why do you think your answer to the above questions? This is a poll, and I'm asking for well-supported opinions.

I see many people as people "programmed" to care about a specific aspect of life, and then work themselves around the clock for that thing, or things. And sometimes, in doing that, we lose ourselves. Who am I? Do you ever ask yourself that?

I guess what I'm really asking is, how do you see the world from your side of the mountain? Not as in the state of the world, but how you see most people in the world see the world. A repetitive sentence, sorry for that.

Thanks for laboring through that long query and taking the time to answer. >.<

I don't lack Those things, but, If you see a Lack in sincerity, love or interest in the world around you, It Could be Two things. One,Those things are in you and you are seeing them reflected in the world around you. Or two, You have surrounded yourself with these things. No judgement just a statement.

The reason you see people as being "Programmed" to care about specific aspects of their lives is that They very Much are. That's what teaching and learning are about. Programming about Not just the subjects you learn in school, but Programming about how to interact with people from when you are a child all the way through to adulthood and beyond. Teaching and Learning (I.E Programming) neither starts nor stops in school, nor does it limit itself to school subjects.

Is working around the clock for something a Bad thing? Work gets done because it HAS to get done, whether it is work on you as An individual or a Goal to be attained. You cannot lose yourself. You can only alter yourself. You can only lose what you discard, whether you wanted to discard it or not.

If I do NOT Change, and lose some part of myself from time to time, Will I not stagnate?
If I DO Change, and Lose some part of myself, the first question I ask Is, Is This Right? If so I Let it stay lost, If Not I try to find it and get it back, And if I cannot, Well, That happens To everyone....

How Do I see the World? The world Is actually a Pretty Decent place with some pretty decent people in it. Some good, some bad, all trying hard to make things better for themselves. Don't know That There is an Answer beyond that.

Hope That Long and Laborious answer Covers It.

Have a Good Night

it's almost as if you're asking do you feel those around you, including yourself, take things for granted that really should'nt be. I ask myself this question a lot because I seem to have a very thankless job, so at times it seems pointless and less fruitful. Having been in prison my philosophy is: Adapt to the situation and environment, DO NOT CONFORM. It's gotten me into a few scuffles because people see me as coming off arrogant when in all actuality I'm trying to help them see a different view of things. The world is a very different place now. A lot more dangerous and yet so interesting.

Not nearly enough people I know are evil. My two best friends freaked out and said my crush and I are perfect for each other cause we have the same taste in music (System of a Down), bla bla bla, and because we're both evil. Everyone I know are either obsessed with one thing (ex. my mother with politics and stuff) or seem too detached and don't know what to do. Only my mate Emil has any idea. He's going to be a prosecutor in London. I'll be a defendant attorney.

I'm a Gemini and I want someone to talk to about philosophy, evil, and someone that has read Harry Potter! *shakes fist*

I see the world as a very very.... STUPID PLACE! In pretty much every aspect, we're doomed. We'll run out of fuel, water, and land, global warming, holes in the ozone, nuclear waste, the list goes on. It's all humans' fault!

Therefore, I plan to bring about the apocalypse ASAP and die in a memorable way before I'm destroyed by natural means.

My Dear Friend,
What you meant is, What is our view on the other peoples in the world, am I right? In this restless world all are moving like passing clouds. They have only time to look and think about themselves and not about others. For that we can't blam them. Because they doing their routine works that's all and they have no time to take care about others. Very few people think about others on a kind view. The intension should be circulated from by birth. In my opinion we had seen many bad events like bomb blast, terrorism, murder, fights, etc., these all are shown us the kindness and love on the others are frequently reducing in all corners of the world. At the moment, we are helpless and we can only make sympathy or can spred two drops of tear. B'coz we are in such circumstance and arrested by our situations.
We can brake our situations, but we have to sacrifice. We should exposs the true value of human being to all people around the world and we should let them realize. Then Only we can make a peaceful world.
Our Tamil Poet namely "Bharathiyar" Says, "Whenever you see the crime or violence on the innocent people, don't escape to save yourself, just enter with your full power and fight on behlaf of Truth, that's the event can reflect the usage of your birth".
So, My thought is, Try to help others upto your level best, and try to live for poor and low level people till your end. Then there is no asset needed to flash your name all over the world.

Thanks for your commitment. Jai Hind!

I have been pondering that for a while now. Why is the world so full of stupid people? I think of myself and that's what matters first and if I am not happy then there's no dice! If I don't want to work or pay the bills, I don't. If I don't mind and find it somewhat relaxing or enjoying, I will do it, otherwise NO. I possess eternal freedom.

i think people are jaded by the daily onslaught of negativity in the news, pornography on TV, filthy rich immoral celebs and athletes, unethical politicians, and lies about science in our kids classroom
I believe most people want to live quiet, peaceful lives
they almost HAVE to put blinders on to shield themselves and their children from satan's constant attack on our sensibilities

those with eyes to see and ears to hear, let them see and hear
