I'm obviously not pregnant, but I'm worried it could be because my weight's so low.
Is this something I should worry about? And will this destroy my chances of having kids when I'm older?

I'm 14, 175 cm tall and weight 53 kg. I have a BMI of 17.3,

it's nothing overly serious.

I'm 22 and a virgin and my period still skips around. The longest I went without a period was 3 months and I loved it.

I really don't think it's anything to worry about at 14 as long as you know you haven't done anything to worry about.

It could be your weight, your diet, your stress level, your active or inactive lifestyle, etc. A lot of factors.

If this is that important to you right now... I would recommend getting on BC because it regulates your periods.

It is most likely one of two things.

1. You are still very young, so it is possible you are not regular yet. It may take until you are 17 or 18 to get a regular cycle going

or

2. Your low BMI my have an impact

Well, you should see a doctor! You should eat balanced, and drink lots of water, if you don't want to go see a doctor or are imbarassed.... you could go to your local pharmacy and ask for a good vitiman supplement. just tell them that you've been stressed and aren't eating well and don't want to get sick! GOOD LUCK!

It's your weight, and yes,you should worry. It shouldn't affect your ability to have kids unless you don't gain some weight. Talk to a doctor.

BEING UNDERWEIGHT CAN NOT ONLY AFFECT YOUR PERIOD IT CAN EVEN STOP YOUR PERIODS, BUT YOU ARE ONLY 14 SO I WOULD NOT WORRY AS IT IS QUITE NORMAL TO BE IRREGULAR WHEN YOUNG!!
