i'm 20 years old right now
my birthday is in march
i'm going to vegas this december and am looking for hotels right now, but most of them say that minimum check in age is 21. do they actually check my age when i go in? or is there a way I could convince them before I get there?

There is a very good chance they will check. It is not uncommon for them to ask for ID for anyone who might appear to be under 25. Many Vegas hotels want to maximize the profit they make on a room. Being that you are under 21 and unable to gamble legally, they would rather sell the room to someone who they can possibly make more money from. Check with a travel agent rather than booking the room yourself. They may be able to steer you to a hotel that is more lenient toward those under 21.

inns usually run on a various time time table and don't close books till nicely into the morning. working example, 3am Dec. twenty 8th in maximum inns could be nonetheless the twenty seventh till books are closed that day. With a mastercard reservation, they'll carry your room till the subsequent morning. So in case you have a reservation for Dec. 26, they'll carry it till 7am Dec. twenty seventh. For ultimate outcomes, tell inn which you would be checking in previous due and that they'll accomodate you. so a good distance as sorting out interior the afternoon, many inns will fee you for a 2d day no count if it somewhat is in basic terms too a good distance previous examine-out time. maximum inns are examine-in 2 or 3pm and examine-out 11 am ish. once you're a member of a inn club like determination privileges, mariott rewards they permit for previous due examine-outs. i'm hoping this spoke back a number of you questions and did not improve too many new ones. If I at a loss for words you, edit you question.

Odds are they won't necessarily check - however, most hotels require your id simply to confirm identity and may notice your age then.

Having worked in the hotel industry, I highly doubt the person checking you in will turn you away. If you can play it cool, it's probably a safe bet. If nothing else, you can always play dumb and pretend you didn't know. It would have to be a pretty cold person to refuse to give you the room.

Of course, I'm assuming you're not planning to trash the place....

You might check with Hawthorne Suites. Very reasonable priced and very nice & clean. PLUS they are all suites! Kitchen, Living Room and 1 or 2 Bedrooms.

They do not have a casino at their site - but are just a block or so away from the strip.

Since they don't have gambling - age might not be a factor for you there.

Are you going with someone over 21? If so just register the room in their name and that way you dont have to go through all that

You need a photo id to check in, along with the credit card used to make the reservation. Sorry.
