I have to do a speech and I'm suppose to share other's reaction.

If someone (not really on good termes with you) suddenly does these things to you:
•Didn’t criticise, condemn or complain
•Gave honest, sincere appreciation (kept saying thank you)
•Became interested in you (your things, your interests n stuff..)
•Smile
•Have been a good listener and encouraged you to talk
•Made you feel important

(seriously) What would be your reaction(s)?

I would be totally surprised and I'd become suspicious. I'd think that either he wants something from me or that somebody told him what he has been doing to me and he is now trying to be a better person. I would be friendly back but at the sane time I'd be wary of him until I am certain he is for real!

I'd look around and take a mental inventory of who else is in the room to see who their trying to empress. Sounds like someone who's good at manipulating other people.

if this person has a history of ill-will toward me, I would definitely suspect ulterior motives. I have had two experiences similar to what you describe. One was when I started dating a guy with "connections" and the other was when a jealous woman had told vicious lies about me and didn't want me to know what she did.

If it happens again, I would definitely not trust this person.

Sadly, I would wonder if they had soeme alterior motives... I would be glad that we could possibly become friends but I wouldn't trust them for a long time.

I would think they want a favor, or they think I can be of use to them somehow.
