I may be American but I'm not too fond of other Americans. I was just wondering what people in the UK thought Americans. I only want honest answers, if you're going to sugar - coat it then please don't bother.

I personally do not have a problem with American people in general however,having served with American troops I found them to be reckless and,very arrogant with,too much of an attitude when it came to working together.
I do not judge the American people the same in general,as I have met Americans who are OK and,they are not a lot different to us here in the UK.

They all seem to be drunks or druggies or thugs.
The few Americans I've met seem really nice.
I guess the problem might be the other 200 or 300 million.

i dated an american for a while, i found his entire family wonderful, warm, kind and lovely so from my experience i do not have a bad word to say about American people

well i'm british, dont really know any americans, { although my nephew married 1, lives in little rock , Arkansas } but they seem like nice people, bit over the top sometimes, & they make great tv, programmes.

MOST OF US HERE IN THE UK THINK THAT YOU AMERICANS ARE GREAT..MY SON IS FIGHTING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH THE AMERICANS IN IRAQ...THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT SLAG AMERICANS OFF IN THE UK ARE ALL THE FOREIGNERS THAT HAVE INVADED OUR GREAT ISLAND BUT THE TRUE BRITS ARE HAPPY TO HAVE A PARTNER THEY CAN RELY ON IN A CRISIS.

They dont bother me but when you see them on tv they are abit over the top about things.
