on your start up screen , right click, then click properties,click settings, then adjust screen resolution to 1024x768pixels.

It is most likely your graphics card driver. Nvidia has the option of rotating the screen for those who want to use their LCD panel displays for graphic work. I can only assume ATI has something similar. 1) On the desktop - right click - choose properties -> Display Properties box should show. 2) Choose the Settings tab - click the advanced button -> New window should open with series of tabs at top, Cycle through these until you find monitor orientation. You should be able to alter it from there... good luck

I am ssuming your monitor is a CRT.
There is no way the pixture can turn 90 deg
untill and unless someone has turned the deflection coils by 90 deg

You could try right-clicking above the task bar select NVIDIA Display/Analogue Display. Hope this helps.

if this doesnt work manuallly do it in the graphics settings

- pcs have thid shortcut because sumones monitors can rotate to portrate

Someone else must have been messing with you monitor options just hit your auto adjust button on you monitor. If that doesn't work then look at you options on your monitor and see what fixes it. every monitor is different.
